Automatic Fish Food Feeder (DAZS AQUARIUM SYSTEM)

(Photo taken with Canon 40D with 17-50 mm TAMRON lens)

Introduction

Tested the Dazs Aquarium System and Warm Tone  fish food feeder.  and  found them to be adequate to automate the feeding regime. Both are powered by 1 AA size battery, capable of up to 6 feeds in  a 24-hour regime. Amount of food is controlled by an adjustment valve.

Ask the counter staff to test the feeder on the spot using the manual button as one of the DAZS feeder was not functioning at all from the box. I subjected the units to test the amount of food dispense with adjustments of the valve prior to using it. As can be seen from the photo above, the units were  set-up in a plastic container to observe its reliability and amount of food dispense vis-a-vis the valve adjustments. The fish food used for the test was TetraPro Vegetable Crisps.
